Prism Sight, 4x Prism Scope and Prism Optics

A prism scope gives you true fixed magnification in a short, compact body. Choose a compact 3x prism sight, a 4x prism scope or a 5x model, each with a bullet drop reticle built for a clear sight picture at longer ranges. All VPDOT prism optics mount to a standard Picatinny rail for AR-15 and carbine setups. A prism scope folds the image through a glass prism instead of a long stack of lenses, which keeps it shorter than a traditional rifle scope. Compared with a red dot, it gives you a finer aiming point on small targets. Many prism optics use an etched reticle, which shooters with astigmatism often find sharper than a projected dot. Our 3x, 4x and 5x models also light the reticle, with five brightness settings for changing light conditions. The 3x has the widest field of view for fast target acquisition at mid range. A 4x prism scope adds detail for bullet drop holds out to 700 yards, and the 5x gives the most magnification for longer ranges. At close range, any fixed power optic is slower than a red dot or a 1x prism, so if most of your shooting is inside 50 yards, a red dot with a magnifier may suit you better. The 3x, 4x and 5x models run on a CR2032 battery and ship with two riser mounts for AR-15 height. The P432 4x32 prism sight uses fiber optic illumination, so it needs no battery at all.
